FAQs On Epoxy Floor Installation

How long before we can walk and drive on our new floor?

Depending on the temperature and humidity, you must allow the epoxy to cure 24-48 hours before walking/light traffic and 4-5 days before driving a car or truck on it.

How long does the installation take to complete?

On a typical floor it will take us 1-3 days from start to finish.

Do I have to clean my floor before you start on the first day?

You do not have to actually clean the floor, but yes we require you have everything (tools, bikes, boxes, cars, supplies) removed from the area before we arrive.

Is the floor slippery when it is completed?

We add a non-slip aggregate to our top coat which makes the floor more skid resistant.

I have small cracks and some salt damage to my floor, can this be fixed?

Yes. After we initially grind the floors, all cracks are filled with a high-density mortar crack filler compound, and yes the salt pits will be filled by the epoxy.

What is the difference between your Epoxy and the stuff I can buy over the counter and install myself?

We only use commercial grade 100% solids Epoxy products which are self leveling with no odor, and no shrinkage. Also, preparation of the floor is the most important step in our process. We use professional industrial grinders that are environmentally safe and high performance vacuums that keeps the dust down.
